1. Warming up.
Good morning, boys and girls. How are you? Aren’t you tired after your expedition? How was your trip? Did you find anything interesting?
P1: We are fine. We came back yesterday. We were tired but very happy. It was a long trip but we learnt a lot of interesting facts about the place where we were.
Introducing the topic, its aims.
I am happy to see all of you here, healthy and happy. And we can begin our meeting in the ENO ecoclub. Look at the board. What’s the topic of our lesson? What will we do today?
The topic is “It takes all kinds to make the world”. We’ll be researchers today and continue our journey in the world of science and discover the unique world of animals and plants on our planet.

Good morning, boys and girls. I hope you are doing well today. Good morning, dear guests. I am glad to see you. Dear boys and girls, I’ve got a surprise for you. Our partners from Learning circles sent us some souvenirs. Can you guess what country they are from? (a daffodil, a napkin, booklets from Swansea)
You are quite right. They are from Great Britain. What images represent Britain to you? What is Britain associated with? Work in groups to decide on your top three icons of Great Britain. (slide 1)
2. Introducing the topic, its aims.
But for me Britain is the country of fascinating countryside – Cairngorm, Lake district and Loch Lomond. (slides2-4)
What’s the topic of our lesson? ( slide5)
The topic is Exploring British countryside. We’ll travel all around Britain visiting the most outstanding national parks and gardens, explore its nature and make a map of our journey. At the end of our trip you’ll answer the question: “Is British countryside great?”
